That’s because we have a new member of the fam… may I introduce to you the very talented esthetician Monica David! Monica and I worked together years ago and I am excited to have her join us on Sundays and Mondays.
With over 10 years of experience, Monica honed her skills with industry veterans Georgia Louise, Joanna Vargas and Joanna Czech. Monica’s specialties include deep, dynamic facial massage, and extremely thorough cleaning and extractions for congested and acne-prone skin. She’s so passionate about extractions that she developed a facial devoted to them! Monica is also an avid astrology buff. If you’ve ever wanted to have your chart read while getting your face snatched, here’s your chance ♍✨

NEW TREATMENTS
Whether it’s a new product, technology or technique, I am always on the lookout for ways to make our treatments as effective as possible. Below are two new offerings on our service menu.
The Clearing: Specifically designed for acneic skin, The Clearing focuses on deep cleansing and thorough extractions. High frequency and oxygen infusion are employed to kill any lingering bacteria. Afterwards, blue and red LED light therapy and an alginate or biocellulose mask are combined with cryotherapy to reduce inflammation, calm and soothe the skin.

The PDT*: The PDT is a unique photodynamic gel treatment that utilizes Aminolevulinic Acid to force dysfunctional, photodamaged cells to expire. While they’re alive, these cells secrete inflammatory compounds that harm the healthy cells around them and are responsible for many of the symptoms of photoaging – namely wrinkles, laxity, visible pores, sun spots, redness, and dehydration. Only when these cells are removed can skin rejuvenation occur. Results include smoother texture, tightened skin, reduced redness, diminished pore size, and an overall brighter, more youthful complexion.

The CO2 Mask: Our newest add-on, The CO2 Mask utilizes Carboxytherapy, which is the therapeutic use of carbon dioxide for skin regeneration. Based on the Bohr Effect, this gel mask forces absorption of CO2 into the skin, which causes a deficiency of oxygen. The blood vessels expand in order to deliver fresh, oxygen-rich blood to the area to counteract the CO2. The oxygenated blood supplies nutrients and immunoregulatory substances to the cells, leading the cells to regenerate, flush away waste and inflammation, increase the presence of wound repair and growth factors, and increase collagen and elastin.
The immediate effects are hydrated, calm and glowing skin.
The CO2 Mask can be added to any facial, and is particularly fantastic after The Micro Stamp, The Clearing or before an important event.
The Astro Analysis: Available Sundays and Mondays with Monica, this 25 minute mini natal chart reading will highlight important features that describe certain aspects of your personality and life themes.
