Introducing Moussse

Swiss skincare line Moussse was born out of necessity. When co-founder Hélène moved from Geneva to New York, her skin became irritated and inflamed. Yet every time she traveled home, it would calm back down. She quickly realized that her skin was responding to the urban environment it wasn’t used to – the pollution, the UV radiation, the stress.

Hélène and her husband Daniel combined their experiences in skincare, working with top Swiss biochemists and dermatologists to create MousseShield™, a blend of antioxidants, pre-biotics and skin soothing ingredients to help protect the skin and support barrier function.

The line is small but mighty. Step One is the Purifying Cleanser. It’s a delicious balmy gel to milk oil cleanser. The texture is unlike anything else. Slowly massage a small amount into dry skin and allow it to melt into a luxurious oil. Add a little water to emulsify and watch it turn into milk. With glycerin and allantoin, it’s hydrating and soothing, leaving skin soft and balanced. It works great for a first cleanse, single cleanse, or a double cleanse! Simple but so much variety of use!

Step Two is the Hydration Dream Peptide Serum. This clear gel serum features two anti-aging peptides: Argireline and Matrixyl 3000, along with a Natural Moisturizing Factor complex that mimics the skin’s moisture system. I like to dab little dots onto slightly damp skin before smoothing and spreading all over for a glassy glow.

Step Three is Moisture Rush Cream. It’s both fluffy and rich, with a combination of humectants, emollients and occlusives to attract moisture and lock it in. It is clinically proven to increase hydration up to 96% after 2 hours and 119% after 28 days of use. The texture is light but the impact is substantial, and the finish is glossy!
